Summer Festival in Mount Abu
The summer festival in Mount Abu, Rajasthan is held every year during the
month of May on Buddha Poornima. Mount Abu is the only hill station in the
state of Rajasthan. People of the hill station welcome the tourist from the
depth of their hearts and this festival celebrates the warmth and
cheerfulness of those people. This festival provides the opportunity to

The Cultural Event
The festival begins with a ceremonial procession. This ceremony starts from
the Hotel Shikhar and gather at the Nakki Lake Chowk. Several folk
performances of Rajasthan and Gujarat states win the hearts of the visitors.
During the grand finale of the Festival, a display of dazzling fire works
attracts for three days. Rajasthan Tourism, Mount Abu Municipal Board and
District Administration organize this beautiful Summer Festival. Various
competitions like skating race, skater's show, CRPF Band Show, boat race,
horse race, tug of war, panihari matka race and deepdan add more excitements
into the celebration.
