hotel run by the family. It's an interesting building build on three levels,

The Fort of Sheograrh
Half an hour's walk up steep stone steps leads to the old fort of
Sheograrh. This is where the people of Samode barricaded themselves in times
of war. It is an austere building built on traditional lines.
Samode Bagh
Three kilometers away from the village lies polychromatic flowering bushes,
fruit trees and lush green lawns of Samode Bagh. It is a walled garden that
once served as the recreation grounds for Samode Palace. It is an oasis set
amidst the dry rugged expanse of an ochre desert.
Shekhawati
Shekhawati is about two and half hours away from Samode. This small village
is quite famous for its havelis with murals and wall paintings. This place

By Road : The distance from Jaipur to Samode is 42 kilometers. From
Jaipur one can drive out on the highway to Bikaner. Samode can be reached
after taking a left turn from a village called Chomu. The Samode Palace is
only about 10 km from this village. Samode is connected to the other places
in Rajasthan through state transport corporation buses.
